I oversee the creation of Nurture's hybrid interactive/linear "adventures" to ensure that they meet the highest standards of learning rigor, child development, game, story, and technical quality.​ Specifically, I:

- Manage and drive the content roadmap

- Oversee Nurture's content library to ensure that our content is genuinely delightful and deeply good for kids

- Manage a team of writers, game designers, producers, artists, and animators

- Act as a subject matter expert on matters of child development and learning

- Consult on Nurture’s product and app roadmap

- Continue to execute the lead producer responsibilities outlined below, in addition to my executive producer responsibilities

Lead Producer & Child Development Specialist | 2024

I coordinated day-to-day production tasks and consulted on matters of child development and learning. My responsibilities included:

- driving the concepting and pre-production processes for Nurture’s hybrid interactive/linear “adventures,” ensuring that learning, game, and story elements are integrated seamlessly
- shepherding 15 interactive adventures through the concepting and pre-production processes, including partner adventures with third party IP holders.
- consulting on content and app elements to ensure that the entire app experience is designed for kids' wellbeing
- developing and maintaining detailed production and content release schedules
- overseeing and stepping in to assist technical production as needed
- tackling and resolving any production issues as they arose across the production pipeline
- facilitating clear and efficient communication across internal and external teams and stakeholders

I design, research, write, and produce engaging and culturally-responsive learning content for kids' media, toy, and publishing companies. Clients include Noggin, Tiny Souls Media, Common Sense Networks, Miko, Encyclopedia Britannica, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, among others.

 

My recent work includes:

- Weaving together child development research, game design, and story to create immersive, joyful, and inclusive preschool and elementary learning media featuring internationally-beloved IP

- Designing, producing, and writing scripts for digital toys and games

- Reviewing and editing scripts for developmental appropriateness, learning value, fun, and production scope

- Interviewing preschool kids and their caregivers to investigate the effects of various toys and media on child development

- Designing, writing, reviewing, and editing standards-aligned science, SEL, social studies, history, math, computer science, digital arts, and ELA curricula and assessments for kids ages 0-18

- Designing, writing, reviewing, and editing caregiver education content

- Designing playful learning experiences for camps, clubs, and zoos
